The floor your looking at is actually asphalt millings. It was one of the best decisions I made to use that as fill. It worked great, I compacted about every 6 inches with a plate compactor and used box blade and front end loader to smooth.
Yes, gutters are coming soon! They will be black and blend in with the facia and black corner trim and barely be noticable. Amazing how much water comes off that roof and I need to get that water away from the front of the building.
