Anyone out there know how much offset is on the blade bar vs blade plan on this cutter. I am trying to purchase a aftermarket stump jumper for this cutter and need this measurement. If possible I need measurement on far apart the blade bolts holes are. T Was given this cutter and did not have stump jumper on it.

Yeah, the blade bar is the backer for the pan and the mounts for the blades. Measure between the holes in the blade bar.
When I bought my used Ford Rotary Mower, it didn't have a pan either. I never worried about it. If a stump is that high, the blades will hit it long before the pan gets there.
The lesson here is, don't drive over stumps.

Do not have blade bar or pan. Was given this cutter and previous owner said he tore pan on a stump removed blade bar from cutter and thinks he took it to scrap yard. Trying to locate an aftermarket stump jumper and since this cutter has an offset blade bar need info on how much offset from blade bar to pan also center to center measurement on blade bar bolt holes

Have owned a couple of 286. Good cutters. Hit a lot of limbs, stumps and rocks without much damage. Might want to check the pto slip clutch. Might check gearbox shafts for bends before investing much money. German Bliss and others bush hog dealers should be able to source the stock stump jumper. GB has good parts drawings of the 286. Proper splines, spacing of blade holes, bolts, washers, blades etc. Might use aftermarket blades but recommend bushhog stump jumper.
