INPUT PLEASE: brush-hog gearbox question

They have 00 grease at Tractor Supply it is junta not with the grease and oil. At mine it was with the trailer bearings. In others it is with the 3pt hitch stuff.

Go to a John Deere dealer. They will have corn head grease.

Thanks fellas ... picked up some #00 grease at the local Kubota dealer up the street. I'll keep it full and see how it does tomorrow.

Well, the 00 was too thin and still pushed out the bottom. So, I filled it with #2 and topped it off with #00. Still had some loss, but it stayed cool during use and still works great.
