My BIL still has and uses a Belarus;tough ,crude but still works.He doesn't put many hours on it since he gave up dairy farming.Any-way you made a nice choice for your "new" tractor ,it should serve you well for many years.

He's threatening to put the old Belarus back together Thank you for the warm welcome. Glad to be here

Oh, and "thingy" is a perfectly cromulent word... try the American "do-hickey" or "thingamabob" as an alternate.

(For some reason, they also titter like schoolgirls when you write 'grease nipple', preferring the work 'zerk' instead. :confused3
