We don't have the bright colors you have, Frank, but since the temperature right now at 5:25 p.m. is 100 or 102, depending on which weatherman you check with, I'd say Fall is a little late. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I knew it when i asked the question /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif, but you know what i mean. don't expect much color up here either as like you say the summer was dry, but sure have had plenty of rain in the last few weeks.
Here is SE Minnesota we are experiencing the same thing. The tops of the trees are now just starting to turn color but not much. You never know though it could change fast.
It's been so dry here this year that all my Buckeye trees are bald, my oaks all have dead leaves at the ends of most of the branches, and my maple leaves are turning colors and falling off. Since the remnants of Katrina went through, we've had about 10" of rain, and the remnants of Rita are here now. It's been a weird year.
Here in Oregon the maples started to turn color. It also has been a very dry Summer. I am just trying to get as much as possible the dry work done. Normaly our Fall is wet and rainy.
We have about the same conditions as your area.
Well, it's 4:15 am and 72 degrees.
It'll be changing fast enough. Both of our areas have lows in the 40's starting this Thursday.
