What kind of deals are going on, or have you been privvy to for equipment leasing?

I am not sure if my current venture will be working out, we are in the middle of a serious restoration project, so we are considering a lease.

We currently own our other tractors and equipment, but need another tractor ag-class to work parts of the farm.

We had considered selling, or even trading, but darn it, we actually use our owned equipment.

The CFO had said, trade to get what we require, but the smaller jobs like bush-hogging, cutting, and maintenance are still serviced rather well.

Plus, I don't relish the thought of giving something up that is being used.

Opinions on lease deals?

I assume you are talking about either a much bigger tractor or something like a dozer, being you have said you're current equipment is being used.
If you just need the new machine temporarily I'd go ahead and lease it, you can write off every bit of that lease as a business expense and if you don't have a need for the machine then you don't have a need for it.
