Have a friend with a 425 and he has some occasional need for bushhogging stuff that is more than the finish deck is designed for but he doesn't want to buy another tractor just for this task. Is there a bush hog for this garden tractor series?

Does it have a 3pt hitch? I've seen conventional 36, 42, and 48 inch hogs that might be powered OK if the brush isn't too heavy, but can the tractor handle the weight of around 400 pounds on the 3pt? That's probably half the tractor weight. Might look for a tongue-pulled one.

there used to be a recommended 42" rotary cutter in the Deere sales info for that
tractor, but I can't find that particular info any more. Does require the rear
3ph and 540 pto. if those are on the tractor like bcp says, then i would think
that small cutter would work. Land Pride shows one currently, may be others
out there also:
