Please diagnose my Kubota problems. Last week I installed 4 new glow plugs in my B9200 and blew out the air filter. When I tried to mow Saturday it didn't run right from the start. It smoked much more than normal, ran rougher than normal, and lost power easily. My guess is that while moving parts out of the way to get to the glow plugs I jostled some junk in a fuel line and the junk is now plugging the fuel filter. Anyone have any other ideas?
Another problem occurred later in the day. On the B9200 the rear and mid pto's both run at the same time. After mowing for around 2 hours I started hearing a whine from the rear pto area. It stopped when I turned off the pto, and returned when I turned it back on. I'm assuming a bearing or something in the rear pto. My question, does the rear pto have any grease zerts (a problem I can fix) or does it run in an oil bath (a problem I'll unfortunately have to pay someone else to fix)?
Thanks for any help!
