Is there an equipment trailer/car hauler with sides?

PJ Trailers builds what you're looking for, but note that the sides are removable. I have their 18' car hauler, with a beaver tail and optional 22" Solid Metal Sides w/ 2" pipe-top. To me it seems to be the right compromise.

Are you looking for a trailer with a pipe rail, or an equipment trailer with solid sheetmetal sides? Nearly every trailer manufacturer offers pipe rails as an option on their equipment trailers. They're not too hard to find. Equipment trailers with factory solid sides are a bit more of a niche market because it limits the utility of the trailer for most buyers, compared to stake pockets and wooden/metal removable sides.

I have a 16 footer PJ trailer just like this. I bought it specifically because the metal sides were removable. 7K beaver tail with brakes on one axle. I paid $1900.00 for this new three years ago. Also PJ trailers are powder coat painted. Much more durable paint than wet paint. I haul a B7800 with it which is about the same size as a 2920.

Steel has gone up. I priced that very trailer Saturday but with brakes on both axles and a spare with carrier. Look at $2500 now days cash price.

The one from PJ may do the trick. I am guessing if I get the right one it will do all I need and haul a car.
ANyone have a pic of what the sides look like? Looks like there is a big PJ dealer 70 miles away in PA so I want to get the specs sorted out before I make the trip out there.

Thanks for the info that may be perfect!

Here's a pic of my PJ 18' with its sides on. It takes about 1/2h to remove the sides.

Thanks whiskey - I cant think of any reason to buy just a landscape trailer when one of these is available for the same $.

Does everyone that has one have the same C5 model? Does the front look like the sides do?

Whiskey -one more question.

Are those ramps heavy duty enough for a car? The actual car hauling may never happen with mine but I like the capability.
