After many years trouble free operation the loader is starting to play up it will lift and lower ok but the bucket does not want to curl up(down is ok) .I have never had the need to delve to deeply into hydraulic control valves before so I need a crash course.I have a vague idea what the twin spool Nimco valve does but no clue what the alloy block in the lines between the curl cylinders does and could it be the problem.
Any input would be gratefully received

I can’t tell from the picture if those are some form of valve on the top of that block or just fittings with cap or plug in them?

Are there any markings on those items?

If curled back does the bucket stay curled or dump some?

When trying to curl do you hear any difference in sound of the engine or hydraulic system?

How about control cables? When you move the curl/dump lever from end to end does the resistance feel equal and stroke feel equal both ways? A cable giving up could be as likely as anything else in this case. Switching hoses from the A spool to the B spool might tell you something. If the problem is in the valve (or cable) it will still be there no matter which cylinders are hooked to it.

Thankyou that would eliminate the other block

I swapped the quick connects and it will now curl up but not down so it is isolated down to the spool or cable.

quick connect fittings on top of spool valve, bucket stays in position no noticeable change in engine sound now or when operating normally

You switched which couplers? The suggestion was to switch all four couplers. Move the lift cylinder lines to the present bucket cylinder spool and see what that brings.
