Hello guys. Got a friend with a John Deere 320 skid steer. We've been trying to figure out how to work around having to put on the seat belt. Same for the seat requiring weight in it.
So far I figured out I can run the seat belt behind the seat and latch it. However if I get out and back in the hydraulics will still lock out until I unlatch it, pull it out a couple inches and stick the belt back in.
We looked at trying to remove the seat but that isn't easy to do. The wiring harness also is hard to get too. I was hoping it would be a matter of cutting or jumpering a couple wires or taping down a contact switch. It looks like the overhead panel could be removed if we knew what to do with the hydraulic lock out switch. It would also be nice to start it without lowering the windshield to reach the key. Thanks.
