Very COOL! Congrats!

As RG1 wrote, its a DI engine so no glow plugs, but there is a intake/grid heater (#14) that's active when the key is in the start position I think.

Congrats! The 4115 has a direct injection engine, so no glow plugs, better fuel economy, and near instant starts.

I'm curious about the straight rops though. They never came like that. They only made the 4115 for 2002, 2003, 20004. The ROPS should have a bend in it at the fold joint.

good to know about the glow plugs/non existent glow plugs lol. but yeah all the pictures i seen had the folding rollover bar and this one doesnt fold so hopefully theres no low tree branches or something like that i need to get under....

If you have part #14 (should be easy to see the thing in the intake with wires going to it) , Check to see if pushing the key in at the run position activates it or if there is some other position that does it.

Mine does not have the key activated heater, and I don't believe that any of them came with it as stock. I say that because there is no mention of it in the manual anywhere, and I have read mine front to back more than once. My 4500 had it, and it was a really nice feature to have. It was referenced in the OP's manual for the 4500, and how to work it. IIRC (I'll have to go check my manual for it) the heater for the 4115 was an option that was field installed.

Im going through the manual as we speak gearing up to do all the fluids. another question for ya guys, im looking at the hydraulic rear end servicing and it says gear models have a suctions screen that needs cleaned. does my 4115 have that? the manual is for the 4110 and 4115 so that parts confusing me.

The grid heater, like the glow plugs are active at the same time and only when the key is in the start position like I wrote above-there is no manual preheat like on the larger machines One way to "preheat" is to pull the PTO knob or place the gear selector in L or H (seat switch my work) and turn the key to start, the starter won't engage that way...

The tranny is the same the hydro 4110 and 4115 so yes, you have the screen.

Check out JDParts also, there is link in my sig if you need help...its the same basic parts system the dealers use and its free to register. Thats where I got the diagram I posted above.

Yep, the suction screen info is on page 60 & 61.
