Backhoe JD 49 backhoe on 5X25 series Tractor

Looking for someone with a JD 49 backhoe on a 5X25 series tractor. Do you hook up all 3 hoses from your backhoe to your tractor or do you only hook 2 of the 3 hoses up to your tractor?

i have a 5220 which is close to the 5X25 series tractors and yes you hook up all three hoses. You need to have a power beyond kit installed which provide continuous pressure and flow to the backhoe valves. you will not be able to hook up the backhoe to the traditional SCV's on the back of the tractor. If you want I can take some pictures of mine, its hooked up right now.

I have the power beyond kit installed, which I got from dealer, but it only has two ports...but the backhoe has 3 lines. The hoe operates only cylinder at a time. So I am thinking the 3rd line needs to be hooked up. Had a long discussion with the JD service manager. He wasn't able to help. So I thought I would ask someone who has one on a 25 series tractor????

The manual for your backhoe URL included shows how to connect it on a 5025 tactor. Just guessing, your problem is that the jumper hose on the power beyond needs to be disconnected from the power beyond on the tractor and reconnect to backhoe and the backhoe return line connect in its place.

Thanks for the link. I bought my backhoe used and the manual that came with it was obviously printed before the 25 series was introduced. So it didn't have the hookup shown for the 25 series. The link showed it and I have it hooked up right!~!! So now I know that the backhoes operation is not due to the hook up. The dealer is suppose to be coming to put a gauge on the line to check flow & pressure. When I hook the backhoe hydraulics up, it even lugs the tractor down. Seems like something is not quite right. It ran great on my old 5300.
