Hi all hydraulic experts. I've searched and not found a direct match to my idea to split the SCV hard lines. My thought is to remove/somehow use/replumb the factory JD 2320 SCV hard lines through electronic diverter vales so that you end up with both mid and rear remotes that utilize a toggle switch to simply switch between mid/rear remote activation, all factory joystick controlled of course?

Is this possible to achieve?

The idea should work as I understand from your intent. Whether it will work physically might be another dilema for you. I don't see where the oil would care that it was being diverted to the front or to the rear. ;)

I'd be interested in seeing a layout sketch and for sure, some build pics as you go. :)

I've also been looking at mounting two 9-7852 at the rear. Put quick connects on rear facing ports C2/C3, 90 degree fittings on the others where P1/P2 is from SCV and C1/C4 go to mid mount quick connects. This way the de-engerized state is normal flow to mid and energized activates rear.

I'm not sure if this is the cleanest possible setup or not. I have never done any hydraulics customization before.

Do you have a joystick with PB now?

No. I have the standard mid DSCV loader joystick setup. This is what I want to split. I do not have the optional Power Beyond kit installed. If I understand correctly the PB kit would not achieve the results I am looking for.

Where in the series circuit will you install the joystick? What will the joystick control. Will it be before the FEL valve or after?

If these valves are in series, one of them will have to use a PB outlet for high pressure fluid downstream.

I wont. They will not be in series.

JJ I'm obviously not explaining myself correctly. Let me add a pic of the current SCV pipe kit and try again. This is how the hydraulics are plumbed to the mid quick connect couplers now. What I am saying is to remove this kit and change the plumbing so that one set of hydraulic lines go out of the SCV into one 9-7852 P1/P2 then routes out to the two circuits. C2/C3 become my new rear quick connect couplers. C1/C4 back to the mid quick connect couplers. Repeat for the second set of lines going into a second 9-7852, second rear quick connect couplers and back to the second mid quick connect couplers. In default unenergized mode the mid quick connect couplers are live. When 9-7852 are engergized the rear quick connect couplers are live. Use the loader joystick to control all.

All theory from a hydraulic newbie for now.

Hydraulics
Type Open Center
Pump Rated Output, gpm (L/min.) 5.6 (21.2)
Steering 2.2 (8.5)
Implement 3.4 (12.7)
Pump Type Gear
Maximum Operating Pressure (PSI) 2421

You have an open center hyd system, and all valves have to be in series. You have to use the FEL valve as it has the PRV. If you interrupt the hard lines, the valves you install have to be in series. You must be using the tank port for the 3pt now, since you said you did not install the PB. Can you describe the routing of the fluid from pump to tank? In most cases, it goes like this. Pump to FEL to 3pt, tank.

He is not talking about adding another valve, he is talking about splitting the stock SCV outputs to 2 sets of couplers and using a director valve to decide which set of couplers gets the pressure when the stock valve is actuated.

OP, it will work just fine. Deere actually makes a loader/mower diverter valve (LVB25822) so you can have the MMM and loader on @ the same time without disconnecting one or the other. 2 of those and you have what you want.
