I need a couple of volunteers with a Jinma354 with a 2 STAGE clutch and a digital camera willing to take the top off their transmission, or remove the four bolt reverse gear inspection plate on the left side of the transmission, take a couple of pictures and e-mail them to me.

This is needed to help solve a reverse gear speed issue – (Mine is too fast in reverse) seems there are a couple of versions of the 354 transmission, there are two different reverse gears (a single gear or a double gear). I need to confirm from anyone willing to help how that double reverse gear is installed (mine is a single). If your Jinma reverse hi speed seems to be about the same or maybe even a little slower than first hi, I NEED YOUR HELP.

I want to thank Tommy at affordable for ordering and sending me pictures of the two different gears. The only thing we need to confirm is exactly where that double reverse gear is installed. Anyone doing this will help solve a huge mystery.

Below are 2 shots of my transmission showing the area I need to see. My email is GuglioLS@hotmail.com

THANK YOU for your help.

I know I am asking alot of someone willing to help.
I will pay for the replacement top transmission gasket and the reverse gear inspection gasket. I can have them shipped directly to you. I am hoping this offer will nudge someone to take a peek inside for me. I need several photos similar to the ones I have posted. You can PM me or e-mail me and I will make the arrangements to get replacement gaskets sent out to you.

It will also be a good excuse for you to inspect your gears, gear oil and give you a good idea how the transmission works.

Removing the top transmission cover takes about 5 minutes or less. You will need a 13 mm wrench or socket, then remove the six bolts holding down the top of the transmission cover. Then just lift the top cover off, the shifter levers are attached to the top cover, it all comes off as a unit. If you are careful you will not destroy the gasket.
