I recently purchased a 3046R that came with R1 Ag tires. Been using it in the yard doing some landscaping, and obviously tearing up the grass quite bad. I also plan to do a ton of work in the woods, and I'm worried about the R1 tires sidewall not standup up to the sharp cutoff brush stub, stumps, etc.
I've been researching the R14T and seem to be a good option that would cover all uses. Anyone with similar size tractor and experience? Should I make the switch? I know I can sell my R1's as they are basically brand new, but it's still going to be a decent size investment to make the switch -- especially having to get new wheels and tires for correct fit.
So far, the Goodyear R14T tires are most appealing from treat design, but aren't radials...which I'm slightly concerned about:
Galaxy does make a radial R14T, but the tread design doesn't look nearly as good to me:
Appreciate any advice from people with experience. Plan on making the switch, but don't want to waste time and money if not worth it.
