John Deere 425 Restoration WITH PICTURES!!!

I finally took the time to compile all the pictures that I've taken over the last several years of the restoration process that I have been doing to my John Deere 425.

What started out as a slow air leak to one of the original (1994) front tires has turned into near full-blown restoration process.

So far:

- New Tires
- New Power Steering Cylinder
- New Battery
- New Water Pump
- New Engine Seals
- New Valve Covers
- New Mower Deck Blades
- New Mower Deck Belt
- New Mower Deck Wheels
- Restored Fender Screens
- Restored Suitcase Weights
- Restored 47" Snowblower
- New OEM Seat (not installed yet)

Not bad for 23 years old!

Now that everything is done :thumbsup:, who wants to buy it??? :mur:

Holy crap you got a paint booth! Very nice. Are you planning on using it? I know it sounds dumb . Some guys are treating these like old cars today. I probably would.:thumbsup:

I wish I had a paint booth. This is at a friend's house. He also vapor blasted the unit to take off the peeling powder coating.

And yes, it's still my "daily tractor"! :laughing:
