Everyone's first question of course is "were you skeered?"

No I wasn't skeered.

I knew I was taking a chance when I ventured onto that cut so when it happened I just hung on. It was a nice slow tip over. I killed the motor and crawled out knowing I had a problem.

I'm in Texas. So I did what anyone in Texas does when there's a castatrophe. I called a Baptist preacher.

He arrived with Betsy.

Betsy is a JCB 214S.

She has four wheel drive, four wheel steer, and she can.

(In Texas Baptist Preachers are allowed to wear cowboy hats)

It took us two hours to get her out.

It wasn't easy. I've got four broken chains to testify to the difficulty involved.

But finally we got her up on the cut and used the hoe to tip her back on her fours.

We were really lucky. I only lost two gallons of oil and it was on the dirt and not into the pond.

None of the oil slid into the combustion chambers. I allowed it to sit for about forty minutes and topped of the oil. Hit the starter and she lit up like she always does. She's got that bright eyed bushy tailed way about her you just have to love.

So it was a good day. The one thing I've been really afraid of finally happened and we escaped with just an adventure.

I like adventure.

Depends upon how you define fun Bobby.

Harvey, glad your OK. You knew it was just a matter of time and I know you learned just what it takes to turn her over now.

Me, too, some adventures! But obviously not as much as you. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Jumping out of airplanes under a bedsheet and turning equipment over is a little more excitement than I want. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

There are a lot of things I never expected to see on this project. One of them is you being "saved" by a Baptist preacher. He didn't try to baptise you did he? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif . . . guess you'd already done that before he arrived. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Glad you got out without anything but a little loss of time and maybe a little embarrassment. Iris is pretty well equiped for protecting you in a gentle rollover like that. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

EDIT: Here's something that looks a little better. The attachment is the passion vine Glenda sent to Kathy during IronFest. It's starting to put on a real show. Please tell Glenda thanks.
