Killing Stump Roots

Thanks for all the good replies. The mistake I made was not putting the roundup on immediately. I did it the next day, so I may not be successful. If it starts to sucker, I'll try to spray them. Rotting the stump is not critical. It's in an old fence row and I just wanted the overhang out of the way so I can bushhog close to the fence.

Next day may or may not work, within minutes or hours before it seals itself is best. But you accomplished your goal. Like you said if it suckers you can hit those once a yr, or make a fresh cut on the stump and soak it with your herbicide.
