King Kutter cat 0 subsoiler

I need a small subsoiler for my BX 22 to use to dig trenches for some drip irrigation lines. Anybody have one of these things subsoiler
Is it too small for my BX? It ships UPS rather than truck which is what I really need.

I think it might work well on the bx but have no experience with it.

Someone once told me he used a standard size sub soiler on his bx, and it worked, but he had to disconnect the top link at the end of each pass so he could get the subsoiler out of the ground and turn the bx around...

The XB series is (as far as I know anyway) designed to work with the smaller type cat 1 3PH like is found on the BX.

One advantage is that this item is it is both a middle buster and a sub soiler...depending on which tip you use.

I think it would be worth a try. Mabye someone who has one will speak up..

I have one of those KK middle buster/subsoiler combos ($135 at TSC). Works fine on my 21 HP B7510HST.

After all the rain here in the North Valley the last 3 months, the ground is real soft and I can just about bury the subsoiler to about 15" depth and still pull it (slowly) with my Bota. Need to get my lawn sprinkler system installed before the soil starts to harden in June. Working on that chore now.

I have one of the XB sub-soilers. I use it with my TC18, it works very well. I bought it from TSC $118. I have some pics posted with the middle buster on it in my picture gallery. I'm not sure how to link it, maybe someone else will do that for me.

I have the KK XB subsoiler that I use with my BX2200. It works fine but the quality of workmanship is terrible. Hopefully they have improved over the years.
