PS; I didn't have to cut or modify the shaft.

pss; I should tell you to double check the amount of oil in the gear boxes and fill, per the book. Go thruogh the whole machine and RETIGHTEN ALL THE BOLTS. And retorque the gearbox covers after a few hours of running, mine loosened and leaked.

Also pull the PTO apart as per instructions and grease the shaft as shown.

You'll love it ,it is one rugged tank, I have tilled up dried concrete, bricks ,blocks in new construction yards that I was doing, worse thing that happened is it put some big dents in the shields, never missed a beat!!

Well I have the definitive answer to my problem. I called King Kutter and the info I received was that they ship the tillers with a PTO shaft with a clutch and the overall length is 29". The one I have is 29", so I am going to have to cut it to the right length. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

morpheus, it sounds correct to me that you are going to have to cut the shaft, I put a 48" KK tiller on my BX23, I had to cut the shaft by at least 4" if I recall correctly. I traded my BX23 for a B3030 this fall, my guess is that the tiller shaft will no be too short. My spreader shaft it turns out was fine but my gut tells me that I'll be shopping for a tiller shaft in the spring.

Newt92, How dose your 2520 handle the 60 inch tiller? I have a B2630 Kubota that has the same horsepower rateing as your 2520 and have a freind who has a KK 60 inch tiller and said I could borrow it any time I wanted but I was wondering if it could run it or not. I would just be tilling a garden area that has been worked for years. Thanks in advance for any info!

BCNU, My 2520 plays with this tiller, some times I run 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. I had a 2210 before when I got this tiller and it was just not big enough horse for this tiller. I bought this size because I knew I would get a larger tractor in the future. When I got the tiller new at TSC it was $900. Couldnt pass it up.

My fingers went crazy and went off topic of question, so if your Kubota is around the HP. as a 2520 you will be fine.
