When it's man vs car a loader helps. Got all the body parts off the old chassis. It's getting a new galvanized one, along with a turbo diesel.

That big hydraulic lift is handy eh? I used my Ck to put the engine in my '68 Chevy Short Step.

I can't imagine what the cost is for a galvanized Land Rover body:shocked:

I don't mean to ask a dumb question but why put a galvanized body on a Land Rover. Unless there have been some major changes since I owned one, 1960 model, the body was aluminum.

If you want the actual particulars, here goes:
1966 2A 5 door wagon body ( yes all aluminum )
new: 200 tdi turbo diesel engine, R380 5 speed and LT230 transfer case
Galvanized coil chassis with Range Rover axles. Wolf steel wheels and KM2 tires.
Badger Coachworks interior with Exmoor Trim seating.
Heated seats, windscreen. Air conditioning if I can figure it out.

Nate did you go to Ron's with DB?

Yup. Had a look at his 110 project, but I can't scrape together the money for it.
