Someday I will do that also, but for now, I'm happier

I'm sure it is an improvement and the Grammar is way expensive, I had to really think about it long and hard.

And you should be with that beautiful tractor

Agreed, very nice machine indeed and I'm sure there will be more to come.

BUMP. The original photos are gone. Does anyone know what he was showing? Are the 4 nuts the ones on the top side of the plate, for the 4 pivot pins? I am so desperate to get rid of the noise I might be willing give up the swivel. Sprayed fluid film on every moving joint I could see, only made a minor difference.

My swivel seat squeaked and it was coming from the unlock lever for the swivel. Put a bit of bearing grease on the sides of the lever where it engages the seat and now it is quite. Sorry I don't have any pictures to clarify where I'm talking about.

Thanks moship, I know where you're talking about, I'll try that. Yesterday I tried the fix that I think Waxman was talking about, it didn't really make much, if any, difference on mine. And I do use the seat rotation, so I'll have to put those spacers back in. It is crazy how badly this thing squeaks, every little bump.

No, not the rotation lever. Thinking I'll have to pull the seat out and disassemble.

I've taken care of most of the seat noise, but it turns out that was only about half of the noise. Seems like there is also considerable squeak coming from the two front cab mounts, and a tiny amount from the rear mounts. Is this normal for the Grand L Cabs?
