That's really a sad picture....

I'm afraid that it's a total loss. You might be able to salvage some minor steel parts but the risk of warpage, damaged seals, etc, to assemblies or anything internal is to great to try to save and use.

I'd list it on ebay and start it out at $200 and see if anybody wants it. If you can't get $200 for it, then put an add in Craigslist for free scrap and mention that they have to take everything. The barn, the tractor and everything in the barn. Getting rid of the mess all at once for free is worth quite a bit.

I don't know what your time is worth, but I don't think you can get enough out of parting it out to make it worth the time it would take to take it apart and sell those parts. I would also be very hesitant to make any repairs or improvements to any of it and try selling it as repaired or used. Once you do this, there is an implied assurance that you fixed it and it's in good condition. The wrong person could sue the heck out of you if it fails, and even worse if it fails and causes other damage or injury.

Congrats on the insurance. It sounds like your agent took care of you and I think that amount was very fair. Sometimes it's best just to clean house, get rid of the mess and move on.

brinkley auction idabel ok in the salvage sale----those new burnt tractors bring alot more than they are worth-----salvage buyers from all over the US!!
