Kubota BX2370 Idle too high

Just bought a BX2370. The idle is at 1500rpm. The book says normal is 1350-1550. Had anyone lowered their idle or can give me a way to lower it. Thanks in advance.

Why do you want to lower it? Mine is at 1400 at idle and the hydraulics are way too slow at that RPM so I don't see a need.

The idle speed a tad on the high side on our BX's is a good thing.

If the idle is low you can glance at it and it appears blurry they shake so much.

That is where mine is as well....and I thought it was pretty fast....but everyone says it is normal.

Yea you can't really do anything with the machine at that RPM but if it is just sitting while you run in the house to reload your drink you would like it a tad lower....but I guess it is what it is.

Thanks all for the insite. This is my first BX model coming from the B series.
One other issue.... my FEL is really slow. I only have 2 hrs on the machine. Will this improve or is it back to the dealer?

I think the newer engines have a higher idle speed due to latest tier of emissions and the book was not updated.

Where are you setting the rpm's when working the loader? The BX's need to be in the upper rpm's to operate well. I run mine at minimum 27-2800 rpm's for when using the loader.
