Hi all,
I have a BX25D with about 25 hours on it.

The backhoe is very fast, abrupt and "bouncy" side-to-side operation but smooth in all other axis and movements.
Is there any way to adjust or limit the side-to-side movement ONLY such that it is more in line with the rest of the bacjhoe movements/operation ?
I mean it shakes the whole rig with even the slightest smooth movement of the stick.
I can run a skid steer ok - so I get finesse/easy/small stick movements - and everything else on the BX - font loader ad backhoe is great - it's just side-side.

Anyway,
thanks for any ideas, opinions or slaps up side the head that help me learn :)

Does anyone else find their BX25 backhoe to behave the same way ? is it just "normal" ?

What RPM are you working at? At 2200 mine works real smooth. At full throttle it gets faster and jerky. Of course I raised my Hyd pressure to 2000 PSI. Only real effect was lifting capacity. Once RPM reaches 2200 the lifting capacity increase is negligible. I hardly ever run past 2200 except with the Roto-Tiller and Brush Mower. No sense in making it scream for minor working affect.

I also usually run it 2200-2300
only over that - around 2500 if lifting logs or boulders with grapple. so far anyway.

it just seems to be very "jerky" at all speeds - unless it is so slow as to be too slow, like at idle.

I will try something lower 1900-2000 and see - It seems like I have tried a lot of rpms but will go through the range again and see if a sweet spot.
