I have a Kubota F3060 with the RC72-F30 side discharging 72" deck. I found a 72" rear discharge deck for sale, but I don't know if it will fit on my F3060 properly. I assume that I would need an RC72R-F30 for my F3060.

Strange that the left hand side wheel support arm is bent inward, but it almost looks like it may be that way on purpose. The seller knows nothing about it or what it came off of. Pictures are attached below. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Esox

So I can have rear discharge and not blow grass into mulched areas or build up wind rows of grass clippings.

Esox,
Welcome as a F mower user!

Could please you fill out your profile with some location info etc.

The model of the deck looks identical to my RC72R-F30 and the arm is bent on purpose in order to keep the left hand gauge wheel from traveling close to the edge like a situation shown below:

I replaced the worn out RD deck shell (shown below) on my F3060 few years ago with identical new deck shell.

Here's the mower when the new deck shell was first installed around 2017 or 18:

Here it is few years later:

As you can see above, I have also replaced the 90 degree gearbox with aftermarket one from eBay vendor around 2021 just to have a low cost spare.
It has worked out very well.

My grass gets so thick I can’t run the side chute deflector on my SD Deck or it’ll windRow really Bad.

But I do get covered with grass & have to make 2 passes blowing it away from driveway & buildings.

I do miss that from my 72 RD Deck Zero that I sold.

I don’t miss cleaning radiator screen out every 2hrs & covering the under chassis with Damp grass tho.

Every application is unique.

Thanks for the replies. It seems that this deck should fit my F3060, but it will probably require some fixing. Its hard to tell from the pictures, but the covers seem to be needing some repair and that left wheel arm appears to be bent much further inward than it should be.

I'll post more after I see it in person.

The left arm on my deck has been repair welded by the previous owner's shop so the angle could be off substantially?

It was previously owned by municipality and had all kinds of different hired help driving it!

I am pretty sure my deck is unaltered. The RH side caster arm is parallel with the edge of the mower. The LH side is skewed. See attached pictures.

Someone hit something very solid to bend the arm that much. They are pretty stout pieces of steel.

Doug,
Your deck looks original and good!

Mine must have been previously hit pretty hard in the left gauge wheel arm and that apparently was the weak link.
The arm was originally bent on purpose by design but was repair welded due to damage.

The arm repair is solid but looks so-so, however my plan is to replace both side arms when I switch to 15" gauge wheels sometime this winter.

I do know a 72" rear discharge or side discharge deck is around 5 grand at the dealer. Myself, I like the side discharge better but that is personal preference only.
