Good Morning,
The Kubota has an Iseki 3cyl DSL engine, was running in the fall, won't start this spring.
Have power to Glow Plugs, have power to low pressure fuel pump and have bled the fuel system up to the injection pump. It does crank.
There is no fuel output from the injection pump, and the shut down solenoid is working correctly.
So I was gonna take the DENSCO injector pump out and have it rebuilt. I've done this with other tractors in the past, BUT there is, I think an air vent just to the right of the injector assembly, which is like 1/16 too close and prevents injector removal. The body of the injector hits the vent when trying to remove the injector.
The vent top spins, but does not seem to want to come off or move, pretty sturdy, its also cone shaped top and at about a 45 degree angle, any idea's or helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Anyone know how I can remove the injector pump or what the vent is and if it is removeable?
Bill
