Kubota Grand L 3pt lever stop knob replaced w/ Cam lever

I replaced the aggravating 3 point position control stop knob today on my Kubota L5460 with a cam lever from Fastenal. Not my idea as someone here posted the same fix years ago (thanks) but I thought I’d contribute the part number and a photo. The part is the proper metric size though a hair long, so a flat washer was added to keep the screw end from scrubbing the fender.

Tip: Don’t allow the receiving slide part fall down under the plastic console. I secured it with a zip-tie before swapping out. Brain was working better today.

My L4330 console looks different than yours but my adjustable stop WAS a POS too. The fine thread required too much turning and it still slipped sometimes. Finally, the threads galled and I just eyeball lever position now. This cam style might work. Thanks for posting.

Great idea.

The OEM stop is totally useless.
