esterday morning i was doing my 600 hr. service on my transmission. When i drained the fluid then tried to take the filter off, it broke loose easy but turned like it was tight, then fluid squirted like it was under pressure. i thougt it was strange, then i take out the screen and notice somthing on it not metal shaveings but what looked like caulk not alot just one piece. I picked the filter up and the inside was collapsed . I never noticed any difference in the performance or anything, hope i never hurt my little tractor. Whats everyones thougts on this, why would it happen , BAD Kubota filter or somthin else, /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I usually dont worry over most things but this had me loosing sleep last night . i finished my service and drove it around seemed fine. I had just mowed for about 2 hrs. befor service but i did let it cool befor i did the work, if i can borrow a camera i will take some pics and show i saved the filter.
