I recently acquired a used Kubota L3350 with a Kubota BF800 loader. Everything on the tractor seems to work OK except for the three-point hitch. It does not raise. It seems as if there are no hydraulics going to it, or the lever is not connected. There are two hydraulic hoses that are only connected at one end (the quick-disconnect side is hanging loose). I am wondering if the loader needs to be disconnected from the hydraulics and those other loose hoses connected to something to enable the three-point to work. Any ideas or advice is appreciated.

I'm unfamiliar with your model but ours has a limiter under seat maybe you could check that out. Very strange that it wont even go down...hummmm.

Also you might what to thoroughly exercise your FEL for about 5 minutes. I can't explain it but there is a relationship that been proven to be helpful.

I'm thinking you need to have someone who knows hydraulic systems look at the setup on your L3350. If those lines are the work of a "weekend mechanic", who knows exactly how they were plumbed?

Kubota hydraulics are "open center", with the different hydraulic circuits operating in series. I understand that to mean the hydraulic fluid is always circulating and returns to the tank. If you have two unconnected lines, we might speculate that it is interrupting the return flow, which could be causing your 3pt problems. They may need to be joined to each other when not going to an implement so the fluid can complete its circuit. The FEL on one of my tractors is like that. When you remove it, you "jumper" the hoses together on the tractor. But please don't take my word on this... I'm not any kind of expert.

If there is a hose not connected like I think you are describing the the 3-pt will not work, but usually the loader won't either. Can you post some pictures of what you are talking about? I might be able to help.

I have an L3750 with BF900 loader which is very similar. Yes, you have no flow to the three point hitch as suspected.

There is a single hydraulic source on the tractor that normally feeds the three point hitch directly. When a loader is installed, this flow is rerouted to the loader valve and a power beyond port on the loader valve brings flow back for the three point hitch. This covers two of the three hoses you mention. The third is for oil return from the loader. I'm guessing that your power beyond hose is not hooked up.

There is a junction block on the right side of the transmission under the floorplate where the oil flows to the loader valve and back from the power beyond port. The loader oil return is also on the right side, but further to the rear and higher on the transmission. You'll have to look closely at your loader control valve to find the inlet, outlet and power beyond ports to be sure they are all connected correctly.

I hope this helps!
