I have bought a New To Me L3400 with FEL and want to add a 2 spool remote valve. I have a pretty good idea where and how I will mount it, but I need help with the plumbing. I would appreciate help from anyone out there there that has installed the OEM remotes or has done an aftermarket install?
Thanks,
Bob W

Kubota L32 TnT & 3rd function install (work in progress)

If I recall, the L3400 should be pretty much the same as my old L3200. I was pretty happy with my setup, other than failing on ordering the right fittings & mounting things to low. Mount the QDs higher on your ROPS than I did if you are going with TnT. It will give you more room to not hit things.

Was happy with my gear from FirRite (MtnViewRanch).

Thank you Fallon, this will give me some great reading and ideas. Can I PM you with a couple questions?

Feel free. Or better yet post here or another thread. Others are likely to have similar questions at some point. I found lots of answers to my questions from others asking similar or sometimes only semi-related questions.

Specs look about right. I hear Prince valves can have some leakdown issues, but havent messed with them personally. My OEM rear valves on my L4060 have had leakdown problems & I've only gotten some fixed under warranty so far.

The 2 extra circuits are for a top link and front grapple. I am not real concerned about leakdown. Is there a different valve you would recommend ?

Leakdown sucks when your toplink keeps extending. Personally I've only used the Bucher valve from FitRite & Kubota. The Bucher one would leak down an inch or 2 per day, very acceptable. All my Kubota loader valves had no detectable leakdiwn in weeks. Half of the Kubota valves on the rear of my L4060 have let the TnT cylinders extend completely between a few hours & under an hour. Its extremely annoying when things wont stay put.

Others may be able to give better advice on the Prince valve. I'm only going with what I've heard 2nd hand. Some of that may have been from Mtnviewranch (or not, was a while ago), which is more reliable than other advice.
