Kubota L345DT Hydraulic pump

My hydraulic pump is only putting out 800 PSI when loaded. I can't find a pump anywhere and I've searched the net trying to find used or salvaged parts with no luck. The pump has a power streering pump on the back of it I think the pump part number is 35340-45110 according to messicks part diagram. If anyone knows of one please let me know!! Thank you

Depending on how this pump is mounted and plumbed you might be able to purchase a different unit to mount on your tractor.

Key concerns:
Mounting style: Could be SAE or ISO. you will have to measure the pilot diameter and hole spacing
Drive shaft: Is this a spline or keyed shaft? Metric or SAE / american. Measure the OD and key or count the splines

Displacement: this one is tougher

Single or double pump? You mention the steering pump is attached so suspect double pump.

Port style: Lots of different options possible.

Biggest question: Are you 100% sure the pump is failing Vs another component is faulty?

It could be a worn pump, it could be a leaky relief valve. A slight chance of it being a clogged intake or low fluid. As oldnslo has mentioned, you can get "stacked" pumps (my Mahindra has them) of other brands, and likely be able to adapt them, if the pump is truly bad. Unfortunately, it's not likely that if your main pump is bad you can still use your PS pump; it may need replacing also. But check the relief valve (you may have more than one in the system!) first. Check Surplus Center for "multi-section pumps". You'll need a front pump (main) and a rear pump (power steering, unless you can adapt yours.)

It is a double pump. Connections are flanged and splined shaft. Being that it is a flanged pump I couldn't get directly off of it like I wanted so I tested the lines coming off of the tractor going to the FEL basically bypassed the FEL and slowly worked a needle valve shut until I got all the way closed. I put another washer in the pressure regulator so I knew it wasn't lifting and still only get 800 psi

Jeff,
During your test did the pump housing get hot in relation to the inlet oil line temperature? Could you hear any sounds like oil rushing any where? If your pump is slipping that bad it will heat up very quickly since the oil is slipping from pressure side to inlet side.

I don't thin it's getting that hot actually but didn't notice and sounds but I am a newby to tractors.

Quick test to see if the pump gets hot. Curl the bucket back fully and hold the lever in that position for a couple of minutes. Then carefully feel the pump housing to if it is significantly hotter than the reservoir or inlet line. If the pump is worn it will get hot.

Reason for this is pressure loss leaks in hydraulic systems create heat.

Post some pictures. Kubota does not make the pumps they buy them and install before selling new tractor to you.

The trick is to figure out who made it and that is where a photo along with any name plate info will help you.

I tested like you said and it actually wasn't getting hot I have no clue what my next move is. Any help would be appreciated. I have changed the suction screen and oil.
