Please beware of getting the Kioti tractor because you can't find parts for that brand of tractor. My dad bought a Kioti 2556 tractor about 20 years ago. Just a few weeks ago, the radiator started leaking pretty bad. I looked into buying a new one to replace the old one but there were no new ones to be found. Even a used one is $400 plus dollars. We ended up taking the leaking radiator to a radiator shop that ended up repairing the bad one. It was about $100 to do that. Lord knows what we will do if something else decides to break. By comparison, Kubota parts are still available for just about any of their tractors. I know it's more money, but you can still get parts to fix the Kubota. Please do more research before you buy either one. Check in to replacement fuel, oil filters, engine rebuild kits, fuel injector repair options - heaven forbid. Something to think about. Good luck. This is DocTrac, new to the forum, checked this out and so much awesome info! About to pull the trigger on a compact tractor ...
Here's the situation: just received pricing for both Kubota L3901 HST and Kioti 4010SE HST compact tractors. Attachments and implements: tractor, 3rd function, canopy, backhoe, grapple, pallet fork, rotary cutter, box blade, disc harrow, rotary tiller. The configuration is virtually identical, I was very careful to match implements for both offers, e.g. shredders are both 2", 5', heavy-duty. I was shocked by the price difference: the Kubota dealer quoted a price that is $13,000 higher than the Kioti. That's thirteen thousand. Can somebody explain to me how this is possible???
