Kubota L4310: PTO (just replaced) still slips!

Dealer put a new PTO clutch (split tractor open 2 engine hours ago) and am now noticing that when PTO is engaged I am not getting full power (i.e. it still slips).
When mowing tall grass or close to the ground I see the mower shaft come to a stop. I do not notice a drop in RPM throughout the whole time. I also notice that the PTO shaft turns (vey slowly) when PTO is NOT engaged!


Any leads appreciated as the dealer does not seem to understand or be able to test PTO under real load! It's like he wants me to bring the tractor in with the brush hog and
mow a field at his place.

Not sure...it's a Kubota dealer. I'm bringing it in.
I thought they would not be any adjustment to make; replace the PTO clutch pack. I read on other forum about a seal that could be installed incorrectly.

The PTO clutch clamps by hydraulic pressure and the adjustment is outside of the gearcase and is adjustable but you have to have the correct adapter and a liquid filled gage.

Your dealer doesn't have a dynamometer?

So he has the tractor and has no dyno!

He put a small brush hog and wants me to come and show him what's wrong!
I am thinking of locking up the spindle and show him that the PTO is slipping ; Normally should have enough power that the slip clutch on brush hog slips (on my bush hog the PTO stops)


Any other way to figure it out?

As an update they called me and found out pump pressure is only 400psi and will need to be replaced.


That would explain with PTO is slipping; right?
