Kubota L4400HST 3 pt won't lower

I backed my L4400HST out of the shop today to work some snow. It's been idle for a couple of months now(battery tender connected) but housed in the shop and never sleeps outside. After a suitable warm up I raised the box blade to back out, but when I went to lower it, the 3 point wouldn't lower at all. Nothing. The loader operates normally. Up til now, the tractor has worked flawlessly. Any ideas as to whats wrong? Mike.

Have you checked the ROD (rate-of-drop) valve under the seat? I controls how fast the 3PH lowers and if it's closed it won't lower at all.

I read my shop manual, and suddenly the lite snapped on, which lead me to the knob under the seat. Sure enough, the knob had been turned to the almost closed position. Then I remembered--kids in the tractor seat a couple of weeks ago...and you know the rest! Thanks, for the quick reply. Mike.
