kubota M5-111 fuel not getting to the rail

tractor cranks but no start the electric fuel pump keeps pumping no matter how long you leave key on. fuel getting to the supply pump but not to the rail it seems to keep going threw the return back to the tank

Looking at the specs it looks like a common rail system. I assume the injectors fire electronically. I’d start by looking for wiring problems, mice damage etc. I assume the fuel filters are good?

Most cr systems I’ve worked on have an overflow banjo bolt in the end of the rail..
It holds pressure in the rail and opens when there’s to much..
U might wanna look for it..
If the supply pump is pumping to the rail and it’s returning.. the spring might be broken or the ball valve stuck open.??
