I also did some baling with it. A new Holland 116 haybine. Had the power but not the weight. The haybine would push the tractor around. And the baler was fine unless the bales were larger and out of round. Sure would bounce the Kubota and you definitely knew it was back there with a full bale insideThis is my Kubota. I was able to lift this hunting shack with ease. It's not that big but it is insulated. But a slightly bigger shed it wouldn't budge.
Maybe. Or maybe just on certain models?

I Would normally have bought Kubota new due to the better pricing, features, and quality. That's what I've done before.
But these like new Deere's are considerably less. I would buy new but it's hard to justify the extra $15k to get new, even after considering the rebates and better interest rates on new.
The Kubota dealer is very good to deal with, Kubota has given me hassle but I think all brands do these days.
The Deere dealer is also quite good.
But it's worth trying to figure out how to manage new if it's that much better of a tractor and more reliable. But it theae years of the e series from Deere seem to be reliable too.
I was running a case 8455 with 4x5 bales. It did pretty good as long as the bales weren't out of round. If a chink of hay got pulled in and caused an uneven bale that's when you noticed it most.M7060 is marginal for a 4x5 baler, the smallest current Kubota baler can be run with it. I have a 4x4 baler and it plays with it.
Yeah. Exactly. There'll be some -40 days here. Trying to do anything without a cab takes the jou out of it. And whereing a snowmobile suit and helmet doesn't solve that problem.A cab tractor is worth it's weight in gold when it's -25 out and snow needs moved. You'd rather drive a 5000 hour clapped out tractor with intact cab and working heat than a brand new open station one...
Also depends on how many hours you put on it, Buying a mint lease return with 200 hours on it still will give many years of service and in theory any build/assembly issues would have already popped up.
Generally heavy / power users aren't buying tractors and not using them, so I'd wager many of the low hour lease returns haven't even really done any hard work.
If you have dealer support green or orange... that means the most.

The 2023 Deere was apparently used at an ag event center mainly to drag the arena. The dealer provides them a tractor to use and they replace it every two years. So little use and down the road from the dealer for servicing. It was lightly used.
I checked it out. Nice tractor. Just not as nice as the Kubota the premium cab would help align the two but it has a basic cab. But it beats open station.
I wasn't able to test the loader with a bale though. They didn't have it setup for that to try unfortunately. So right now I'm relying on specs, which is the same in doing for the Kubota with the M32 loader.
THe Kubota dealer has shared knowledge that supports that it should lift these bales there's a farmer that has one after upgrading from the 1154 loader that wouldn't lift what he needed but the M32 has no issue. And the Deere loader is rated similar to the M32 so in theory it should work.
Yeah. No spf is nice. I hope the EGR will last. The one I ad in my truck eventually cooked and needed replacement, under warranty thankfully.I did see on the Deere website that the current 5075e uses DOC/EGR technology so no DPF filter or regens. Same technology as my NH Workmaster 75. That would be a big plus in my book.
I am looking at a possibly trading in on a 4075R as it has the eHydro eHST transmission vs the 12 speed on my WM75. Would be easier for my wife to operate if needed. Our other 2 tractors are HST. Downside is the 4075R has a Yanmar engine with DPF and regens. May wait for the new model to come out to see if it changes.
