Kubota Rtv-500 Front Accessory Box

Does anybody have this? Just curious if it's worth the $160+shipping? I'm leaning towards making my own, but wanted to get opinions first from someone who owns the OEM box. Looks to me like a cheap thin plastic box worth $30. I noticed all the room under the hood would be good for storage thus the searching. Here's a link

I have the box on my rtv 500 ,overpriced but it does fit perfectly.

I have the tray in my rtv900 and I think it was $120 at the time. Not cheap but it fits perfect and seems durable.

I just could not pay that much for that or the glove box for my 900. That is probably biggest gripe about the Kubota- my brother has a 13 year old Kawasaki mule that has much better storage space than my Kubota.

I thought the Kubota box was way over priced. I made a couple of brackets and mounted an inexpensive plastic tool box under the hood. It works great.

Honestly the RTV should've came standard with this piece as well as other small items. I think its mearly a way of sliming down retail on machines while making up money when the buyer purchases these accessories seperate.

Kind of like oreos that I now buy in a family size that is actually the old original size but cost more.
