Well unlike JD who is closing plants and laying off, Kubota is expanding to meet the demand.

Land Pride website says they are family owned?Went to a big Kubota show at my dealer today. Took 71 pictures. Found out about a lot of cool new stuff coming like the K-Connect (a new version of the Auto-Hitch) that they had there, larger versions of the R-series loaders and excavators coming, the purchase of Land Pride by Kubota, etc.
Also talked to the factory reps about all the foolish practices of people only changing filters at 50 hours and not ALL fluids, using gear oil in the front axles in cooler Canadian climates and putting vents on the front axles of B and BX's.
The JD dealer I went to near our place in NH couldn't spell Kubota. I'm not sure the JD salesman I dealt with could even spell "Deere." It was like walking into a store, asking for socks, and having the guy demonstrate scissors. That's funny, but sad at the same time.
Our local Deere dealer bought some bx tractors (don't remember the exact size) with Landpride bush hogs, just so they could bash them also.

This did not happen. I do understand that they did try, but Landpride was not interested.
The Kubota reps told me this a long time ago when I was invited to a dealer meeting. But nobody believed me, LOL.
