Of course since Bobcats are white painted rebranded Kioti's; it makes you wonder if they're doing that to breakout of whatever agreement they had with Kubota; or if they're just tryign to increase their overall market share.

There is no source or reference where the 1980's information came from. Could be entirely accurate, sounds plausible, but then again?

Through the years I've run across many people talking of the other Kubota.
There was a dealer on Long Island or near that sold many of them as being a Kubota or at least in their minds.

The most common model was LB1914 that we were taking in trade at the time. There are parts that looked just like the Kubota but yet they weren't quite the same.

When I first saw a Kioti I thought it must have been a Kubota made to stay overseas, and that was the word for Kubota overseas. Dumb, I know, but I was not familar with that brand of tractor. Glad I am now.
