L3830 LA723 Lift Capacities

The specs on the FEL list three different lift points.

50mm forward????
Pivot pin
Bucket center.

Can somone please describe these positions more precisely, e.g. can the hole just to the rear of the bucket pivot be used to pass a chain through to lift objects, and would I use the pivot pin spec here?? Picture attached.

Ernie… Just wondering if you are trying to lift something it won’t lift?
The cross brace on the loader arms will give you more lift than the pivot pin rating, BUT it also places anything lifted against the front of your tractor. That chain passed through the tube could also bend and ding up your stored leg brackets under them…
The center of bucket rating is inside the bucket half way between leading edge and back of the bucket.
When you are lifting anything near the maximum rated load, you should take care that it is centered, (equally lifted by each loader arm). This will prevent twisting your loader and will be the most stable. Careful you don’t want to tip over /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif… Lift only as high as required…

I havent tried lifiting anything yet. I wanted to get advice as to where the actual lifting points are. Center of bucket is pretty obvious, the other 2 arent.

Bucket pivot because some folks buy a quick disconnect bucket. In that case if they added say forks, they would know that with a sling at the back of the forks, they will have a rough idea of the lifting ability. Not quite the pivot point, but close.

Nice Tractor. I got a L3130 with 723 Loader and BH90 Hoe. I did get a Curtis soft cab for mine due to our COLD snowy winters. Have fun with it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I live in Florida, cold weather isnt an issue. Can you get A/C in that cab??
