Price Check L3830hst price check ?

I'm getting ready to purchase a L3830hst, LA723 FEL w/tooth bar and BH90 Backhoe. MY house is on the PA/NY border, the In State dealer is about 5 miles away and the out of State dealer is 20 miles away. The out of State dealer is $1,000 less than the In State dealer, 27,950 vs 28,950.

Are these decent prices ? If I purchase Out of State, are there any taxes ? Is there any room for further negotiation ?

Your price looks pretty typical. I would consider both dealers local being that close. If the closer one won't budge, I would consider the further dealer. Both must realize they are in competition with each other. I have the L3830 HST HD bucket, toothbar, R4's and TnT. My set up was in the ballpark of $22Kor $23K including tax as I recall.
It's a dynamite setup.

Stovepipe your price is about the same as Rat's in comparison for the price of the BH90. I think you will like that unit as it is one of the best hook-ups I've ever seen as an add on.

I live in Virginia and picked 8 dealers in my area and in North
Carolina for price checks the cheapest I found for the grand L3830 GST
was 15638 for the tractor and 3950 for the la723 loader
with the heavy duty bucket,teeth, quick attachment on the
loader and bucket the front brush guard and R4 tires
hope this helps you. I cant remember what the extra cost was
for getting HST but this will give you an idea
the dealer was deep southwest va 3 miles to Tennesse and
2 miles to Kentucky 276-445-5411 great guys to deal with
and the bh 90 backhoe he wanted 6900 for it

Sales tax: 1,197.59
loan filing fee: 85
Grand total: 29,382.59

Thats the loader joystick valve. Not a bad price considering MSRP is around $650.
