Loader L3901 Bucket Level Indicator Rod

I built one for my Mahindra. I wouldn't want to be without it....very handy and time saving when working.

I am going to make one and would like to know how the one you made works. It looks like a very nice job on the build

They are very easy to build. When the inner rod end is even with the top of the tube, the bucket is level when sitting on the ground. In use, you tilt the bucket until the end is flush, scoop, go dump and while moving back to the pile, you set the level again and when the bucket hits the ground you're ready to scoop again.

When plowing, scooping snow you don't dig into the ground.

It makes scooping and dumping much more efficient.

Here's the thread when I described the parts and build methods. Lengths will be different for different tractors, of course.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I'm looking forward to the next time I need to do some loader work.
