L4240 Qa 854 Loader and ssl coupler 72" bucket

I just ordered the above tractor and have a question about the bucket attachment. I have seen two different ways the qa buckets remove. One is with pins and the other is the two lever removal. Here is the description of the order. (Kubota LA854 Quick attach Loader with SSL coupler and 72 inch bucket) Will this be the two lever type?

If a bucket requires the removal of 4 pins it is not Quick Attach. There is nothing quick about it and will increase you swear word vocabulary

. If you ordered a bucket with Quick Attach SSL coupler is should be a Skid Steer Quick Attach. Kubota version is with 2 levers. You can remove and re-attach the bucket in seconds.

It sure sounds like it is the skid steer (2 lever) type which is what you should get.

Congratulations you are really going to like it. Have you considered the heavy duty bucket, I have had two and prefer them over standard duty buckets.

I considered the heavy duty bucket but was already at the top of my budget.

The other type you're referring to is on the smaller Kubota tractors, it has two "saddles" to pick up the upper pins which stay in the bucket, the lower ones slip in place once you have the weight of the bucket held from the top pins. ATI and some Deeres use a similar system as well. Your's should be the skid steer type with two levers.

Sounds like you ordered the skid steers. I have the same set up (35 hours in) with C/A. I LOVE MINE!!!!! You will too!! Congrats!:cool2:

I was going to get the HD bucket but because of a snafu ended up with the standard bucket. I really don't mind as it has done everything I've asked of it and is still fine. It would have been nice to have the bolt on cutting edge but after 200 hours mine still looks like new and I planned on getting a tooth bar so I really don't think it matters.
