We will see. Over 60 days and counting...

After reading this post I had the dealer check my pressure on the new L4330 before I picked it up last week. The mechanic said it was just over 2900 psi from the factory. He left it set there and I used it over the weekend and "what a powerhouse!" I understand that it may be rough on the seals and cylinders but it sure seems worth it. I lifted a concrete porch and some sections of sidewalk that my old tractor would never have dreamed of. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gene, I would certainly not be concerned with that pressure. Although on the high side of the recomended, it still is well within the abilities of all the componets. I have found my pressure does not change whether it is just starting out cool or hot from a days use. I would have suspected slightly less pressure with hot fluid. You have a great setup.

Mine keeps getting worse. I'm very unhappy. The curl feature will barely move the tractor in neutral. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I sure hope it just needs an adjustment.

Is the only way to get a hydraulic gauge (5000 psi) is to order one?

Thanks,
Dave

Stop by Cresent Donut then pay a visit to your maintanance department at work.

Hello, it sounds like more is going on here than the relief pressure. It sounds like your valve may have damaged seals in it and putting pressure to both sides of the cylinder.

Hopefully your dealer will smarten up, that is a bit ridiculous. Surely their accountant is getting after them for their receivables getting over a month?

They finally came back and picked up my tractor. They have completed the 50 hour service and installed the toothbar. But, it isn't ready to come home yet. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

They said the hydro. pressure, for the loader, was correct, but needed to do a flow check yet. Of course, they can't do that until they get the tool/gauge they ordered /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I guess they don't have one of these.

If the flow is correct and pressure is too, I'm going to be dissapointed in the loader of the tractor. I guess I'll just have to live with it though.

No word on the payment plan yet either. They still aren't concerned with it.

Thanks,
Dave

"Mine keeps getting worse. I'm very unhappy. The curl feature will barely move the tractor in neutral. I sure hope it just needs an adjustment"

If your tractor is in neutral, you should almost be able to move it by hand, if your loader, specifically the curl on the bucket can't budge the tractor I would think one of two things is going on. Your not in neutral or the loader control valve/hydraulics have an issue. With only 50 hours on this tractor, you've barely got soot on the exhaust pipe. Work it and get more familiar with it. If you still are disappointed, I would think it would be very simple to sell it for about the same you paid and get something else. I too would be disappointed if my loader curl could not back my tractor up when I get it stuck as I frequently do when working near my stream. Odd that you are having this issue when most of us are not. It would be interesting to try it and tell you first hand if it is similar to ours or if indeed it is weak.
