I have a land pride tiller for my kubota L3800 and have replaced the gasket on the side of it a couple of times but it still leaks oil and I don't really want to change it again because I know it will just contine to leak again. What sort of solutions are there to remedy this?

I would make sure both gasket surfaces are smooth, (flat file off any burrs) then put on a new gasket WITH a thin layer of auto grade silicone on both medal surfaces and torque the bolts.

Then let the tiller set overnight before you use it.

Is there a vent on this enclosure? If yes make sure that it is not plugged allowing pressure to build as the oil heats up.

Shoot a bunch of grease in the gearbox and never worry about it again, just add a little more grease as needed each year when you do your maintenance. Charlie.

I would clean off the area and look very closely to find where the leak is coming from, using that clue to examine the cover and mounting surface for irregularities once you take it apart. Make sure both surfaces are flat. This may seem obvious, but sometimes we don't look closely enough at these things, like taking a straight edge to the tiller side, or laying the cover on a trusted flat surface to look for a bow in the cover.
The vent check suggestion is a very good one.
If all of that fails to help, RTV can fill larger gaps than a gasket.

Unless the vent is blocked, you have to take cover off and put a new gasket on. Make sure the gasket is flat, use something like Edelbrock Gasketcinch (sp) to hold in place during installation, put a thin layer of auto sealant on the other side and torque to specs in correct sequence. No correct torque=leaks.

As well, check to see if there is an aftermarket, specially made silicone gasket available and it will absolutely not leak if torqued to spec and in sequence.

After decades of trying, I don't think there is any other way.

I had an older tiller that I used about 5 times. It leaked after a few times I used it. I replaced the gasket, cleaning after removing the first one. It leaked the second time I used it again. I saw a factory rep and at that time, he told me to keep tightening the bolts. That did it. Gave it when I sold that tractor and now have a new bigger one for my bigger tractor.

I had bought the first tiller new after owning my former tractor for a while.

If the cover bolt holes are dimpled in at all from tightening the bolts make sure you flatten them before re-installing the cover.
