leaking hydro coolant line 2009 CT 235

I have a leak in my hydro system, it appears to be leaking past the o rings on this banjo bolt. # 25 & 26 (I think)



Anyone have any ideas if I am on the right track?

It is leaking at a rate of about 1 drop every 3-4 seconds

I have never worked on something like this, it appears to be an easy fix, but you know about assumptions!

Just wipe it good and clean and make sure the line is not cracked and joint bolt is tight. If not, then likely the O-rings.

Thanks Winston1, I wiped it down several times yesterday, could not see a crack, made sure the bolt was tight, could not get any more on it so I am assuming o rings.

Do you know if I will drain the tank by removing this bolt?

I do not know anything definitely, but I don't think you will drain the tank. Fluid only flows through that line when tractor is running. I can only guess a small amount will come out but again, no warranty from me. I do know that fitting is below the fluid level in the transmission but I am thinking going through the hydrastat housing may prevent a free flow of fluid. Also seems strange to me for that fitting to begin leaking. Any possibility it hit something while working your tractor?

Yea, all your comments have run through my mind.
The line looks immaculate, if it got hit by something it did not leave any evidence.

I picked up a half dozen o rings from Bobcat today, I may tackle it tomorrow.
The opposite side has the same o rings, so I may be needing them soon.

Hopefully there is no crack in the line I cannot see!

I'm guessing crack based on a similar thing happened to me and that they have now added a support on the pipe.

Well as usual, you guys were smarter then I was
I should have ordered the tube Monday

If that crack doesn't go real close to the o-ring sealing area it could likely be welded. I know I would give it a try. That is likely an expensive line.
