post hole digger. trying to get it to stand up while hooking it up can be very aggravating !

I built a chepo 2x4 stand for my PHD. Made all the difference in ease of installation

Hanging the post hole digger from a chain is handy too.

When I was young Dad and I welded eyes on all the attachments and had an open air shed we could pick up and drop off pretty quickly. All the attachments lived off the slab on chains. Being able to swing them around with one hand made it pretty easy to line up the 3 point.

I keep a rubber mallet on my tractor. Works great for stubborn PTO shafts where you need to be holding the pin with one hand and pushing it onto the stub simultaneously with your second and third hands. A little whacking with the rubber mallet nudges it on with little effort and doesn't mess anything up like a steel hammer. Of course you need room to swing the hammer in there.

The sheds & buildings have concrete floors and gravel overhangs. Overhangs protect equipment and gravel makes it so easy, like moving things on marbles. I keep lots of 6x6 blocks about a foot long to prop things up making attaching easier.

This nice. I think I am going to make a holder like this. I always make stuff up when I unload my Auger
