2lane, that's nice work. The headboard has given me an idea for a project.

trout, I know the finger joint in the first box. How did you do the joint on the second box? Very nice.

Kevin, did you build the jig and steam the wood?

I haven't made much recently. I did make a few great projects when I went tot school for cabinet making, but I don't have a by digital photos if that stuff
This is a recent project I built for my sons first birthday. The horse body is one piece of Baltic birch plywood that was steam and kerf bent to shape.

I actually followed a plan in Canadian Home Workshop magazine. I have plenty of skills, but zero creativity and like following plans.

This is the headstock of an acoustic archtop guitar that I completed several years ago. Note that it is a seven string.

Edit: Also note that the Koa does not appear to be bookmatched but it actually is.

The ends are joined at 45 degrees then slots are cut into the corners using a jig which holds the box at 45 degrees to the table saw. I insert a small slice of contrasting wood into the slot and sand it down to form "keys". Thanks for the compliment.

I got nothing to share here, I am way too sloppy for that kind of work - except the shavings. I can make shavings with the best of you :D

So I guess this is as good a place as any to ask.. what router bits do you use? I was looking for some rail/stile and raised panel bits and came across what I thought were good ones- I think they were eagle. Anyone have experience with these? They were pricy but seemed good, and made in USA which is important to me.

Man, you guys are good...

The roof rack crossmembers are shaped like airplane wings (I know, hard to see, best I can find on short notice), the knife is an experiment recycling a broken pair of scissors, the canoe is 17 1/2 feet long (western red cedar hull with ash and red oak frame work). I also have pics of a shorter canoe which I can't find right now.
